About Me

My name is Gary Don Coleman, I'm a 45 year old Disabled man living at Mirabella Assisted Living in Fort Worth, Texas. I graduated from high school in 1987. I'm also a college graduate from Texas State Technical Collage in Waco, Texas. I also attended junior college at McLennan Community College and Tyler Junior College, both colleges are located here in Texas. Shortly after completing my first year at Tyler Junior college, I transferred to Texas Tech University in Lubbock where I majored in Recreation and Leisure Services for approximately 2 years. After deciding that 5-6 years of college was enough for me, I went about trying to locate some of my Biological family. I learned fairly quickly that my mother and father were deceased and my siblings were in no way able to be in immediate area of where I lived at the time.

In the mid to late 90's I decided to go to work for Brookshires Grocery Company out of Tyler, Texas. The store location that I worked at was in McKinney, Texas. I also worked for a short year at McKinney ISD and part time as a Checker at Brookshires Grocery Company. After working in grocery sales for a couple of years I moved to Arlington, Texas where I went to work for the Texas Rangers Baseball Organization in Arlington, Texas. In the early 2000's I moved from Arlington, Texas back to Frisco, Texas where I went directly to work at FRISCO ISD as a Substitute Teacher. I worked as a Substitute Teacher for 7 years and had a part time job at CVS PHARMACY in Frisco, Texas.

I had major back surgery in 2008 in order to have some Harrington Rods removed. These were removed because it was causing me severe pain and preventing me from keeping the busy work schedule that I had for all those years. Because of my medical conditions I had to move from Frisco Texas to Fort Worth Texas. Iv been very sick sense 2008 and have numerous surgeries and have had over a dozen hospitalizations sense I moved here. Because of my current medical conditions I currently live at Mirabella Assisted Living in Fort Worth Texas. I moved here in October of 2012 from another assisted living facility. This is the place that is currently in question with regards to them wanting to evict me. They want to evict me because I won't admire to there no animals in shared room policies. These policies were only recently enacted and are not part of my original contract.
